TokyoPlastic drum Machine

"Le studio japonais Tokyoplastic a créé une nouvelle animation Flash mettant en vedette son "drum machine" pour lequel il avait remporté un trophée au Sundance Online Film Festival en 2004. Afin de compléter la mélodie, le studio a greffé aux joueurs de tam-tam un chanteur d'opéra cyclope aux intonations de baryton.

L'animation a été conçue en collaboration avec le musicien anglais Nick Faber. Ce dernier a également contribué à l'élaboration du site Web du studio, qui marie animations Flash et sons, dans un univers rouge et blanc très japonais.

Avis aux amateurs de figurines, celle du chanteur (appelé "Opera Dude" par ses créateurs) est disponible sur la boutique Web new-yorkaise My Plastic Heart. "

La migration de Bigoudenn

«La Migration Bigoudenn est un court-métrage réalisé par 3 étudiants de Gobelins, l'ecole de l'image: Eric Castaing, Alexandre Heboyan et Fafah Togora.

La production du film s'est déroulée de mars à juin 2004 pour un film d'une durée de 2 minutes.

L'histoire prend place aux abords d'une falaise Bretonne: à la nuit tombée, des Bigoudènes se réunissent pour procéder à un mystérieux rituel: la danse de la crêpe commence...»

visual complexity

VisualComplexity.com intends to be a unified resource space for anyone interested in the visualization of complex networks. The project main goal is to leverage a critical understanding of different visualization methods, across a series of disciplines, as diverse as Biology, Social Networks or the World Wide Web. I truly hope this space can inspire, motivate and enlighten any person doing research on this fiel
